We know that we cannot restore new messages that are sent/received after backup and deleted before the next backup. If you want to keep a copy of the latest WhatsApp message, you can create a manual backup from it.
WhatsApp > Menu Button > Settings > Chat Settings > Backup conversations.
This manual backup file will normally be saved as “msgstore.db.crypt7” in your /sdcard/WhatsApp/Databases folder. Rename this chat backup file to something like “msgstore.db.crypt7.newest” or “msgstore.db.crypt7.current”. There’s no simple way to merge your new message with your old, recovered messages though.

Step 1 – Download Enigma Recovery
Download a free trial version of Enigma Recovery. You can access it from any download button on this website. The app is compatible with Windows and Mac OS.
Step 2 – Recover from my iTunes
After installing the app and opening it to the start screen, select "Recover from my iTunes" from the side panel menu.
Step 3 – Choose iPhone backup file
The software will display all iTunes backup files found on your computer. Select the message from which to retrieve the message and "Continue"
Step 4 – Scan for WhatsApp messages
Now select the type of data you want to extract from your iTunes backup file. Once this is done, start scanning.
The scan time depends on the number of data types you choose to scan and the amount of data saved in the iTunes backup file. After the scan is complete, you can view the WhatsApp message in the WhatsApp tab.
Step 6 – Save WhatsApp messages
Unlock the full version of Enigma Recovery to view all your data and save it to your computer. Save your messages through the ‘Export & Restore’ function > ‘Export to desktop’ > Select location through ‘Browse’ > ‘Export’.
